SheCanAI is a free 12-month international reskilling program designed to help women in Estonia and Latvia build practical Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills and transition into AI-related careers. The program is delivered by Smartwork Academy in partnership with Riga TechGirls and is funded through the Interreg Central Baltic Programme, making participation completely free for selected applicants.
What will participants learn?
The curriculum focuses on practical AI skills that can be applied across different industries. Topics include:
- Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini.
- Prompt engineering and effective AI communication.
- AI-powered workflow automation and AI agents.
- Applying AI in business functions such as HR, customer service, marketing, finance, and data analysis.
- AI ethics, responsible AI use, and data privacy.
- Developing a real-world AI implementation project.
Program structure
The program runs from August 2026 to August 2027 and combines:
- Flexible online learning.
- Live webinars and workshops.
- Hands-on assignments.
- Mentoring and community support.
- Career coaching.
- A practical project and opportunities for further study or career development.
Participants are expected to dedicate approximately 300 learning hours over the course of the year.
Career support
In addition to technical training, participants receive support with:
- CV and LinkedIn profile development.
- Job search strategies.
- Interview preparation using AI tools.
- Networking with industry professionals and employers.
- Building connections within the growing AI community.
