We are pleased to invite you to the next TalTech AI Open Seminar, featuring Prof. Alar Kuusik and Prof. Olev Märtens from the Thomas Johann Seebeck Department of Electronics. They will talk about “Machine Learning Experiences and Challenges of the T. J. Seebeck Department of Electronics: From Medicine to Industry”. Seminar will take place on April 1st, from 15:00 to 16:30 in room SOC-313 (Ehitajate tee 5, Tallinn).
The speakers, along with researchers from the department, will present a range of ongoing projects and share how AI and machine learning are being applied across diverse domains — from healthcare and wellness to industrial applications such as human safety and structural health monitoring.
The second part of the seminar will be dedicated to discussion and idea exchange. Whether you have a project idea, are looking for collaboration, or simply want to explore new possibilities, you’re welcome to join the conversation.
The seminar talk will be held in English and broadcast via Teams . However, we encourage you to attend in person to join the engaging discussions that follow. After the talk, there will be a Q&A session and networking over coffee and light snacks.
