The workshop will give an overview of the main generative AI large language models and their functions. Input and output modalities: text, numbers, classes, tabular data, graphics, audio. Submodel selection (e.g., GPT-4o or GPT-4.5). Context window length (e.g., 128k or 1M). Attaching files as inputs and analyzing them. Graphical analysis. Temporary chat, deep research, web search, and other functions. Voice interaction. Crafting detailed queries (prompts). Assigning roles to the large model.
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify the main AI large language models and their operation across different input-output modes.
- Select an appropriate submodel and context window for their task.
- Use additional features such as file analysis, graphs, and voice interaction.
- Create detailed queries to get the maximum from the large model.
- Assign a role to the AI model.
Connection to the DigiComp 3.0 Framework: The workshop contributes to the development of participants’ skills in “Use and apply AI” and “Evaluate and create AI”, providing practical knowledge and experience in using AI tools, as well as critical evaluation skills regarding the outcomes and limitations of these tools.
