We are pleased to invite all TalTech academic staff and doctoral students to the next TalTech AI seminar on Monday, 16 February, from 15:00 to 16:00 in room SOC-311, where the TalTech HPC Centre will introduce high-performance computing solutions that support artificial intelligence research and teaching at the university.
The seminar will provide an overview of AI-focused services offered by the HPC Centre and explain how the available infrastructure, tools, and workflows enable and enhance research and education. A practical demonstration will showcase a live AI workflow running on the HPC cluster, alongside an introduction to using Open OnDemand for interactive development and experimentation.
The session will also present an AI-supported development service designed for programming courses and discuss how HPC resources can be effectively integrated into both teaching and research projects.
This seminar is particularly relevant for academic staff and PhD students whose work requires substantial computational resources, specialised hardware, or advanced AI workflows, as well as for anyone interested in learning more about TalTech’s HPC capabilities. It offers an excellent opportunity to discuss research ideas directly with HPC specialists, explore suitable technical solutions, and receive guidance on the most effective infrastructure options for specific research or teaching needs.
The seminar will be held in English and the presentation will also be streamed via Teams. However, we encourage participants to attend in person whenever possible to take part in the discussion and informal exchange of ideas.
