For the leader

Artificial intelligence is primarily a decision-making and management tool for leaders. It makes it possible to see patterns and trends that would otherwise go unnoticed, and supports data-driven management in every area of the university. With AI you can:

  • make better decisions – analyze data on forecasts, risks, and opportunities;
  • manage processes more efficiently – for example, speed up reporting and automate repetitive tasks;
  • create value – free up time for strategic thinking, guiding innovation, and developing people.

AI does not replace the leader but helps them make smarter, more transparent, and forward-looking decisions.

For the staff

Skillful and smart use of artificial intelligence helps staff simplify daily work and save time, allowing employees to focus more on value-creating activities. AI helps to:

  • reduce routine – for example, assist employees in drafting documents, translating, or making summaries;
  • speed up working with information – for example, analyze data, compile survey summaries, and handle recurring questions;
  • automate processes – for example, support initial customer communication, create up-to-date guides, or streamline workflows.

AI does not do the work instead of people, but helps to work smarter, creating more time for meaningful and creative activities.

Awareness and skills

Basic AI training courses for leaders and staff are being developed. The courses will be ready in the fall of 2025, but already now everyone can start with the introductory AI course, which provides fundamental knowledge about the nature of AI, its practical possibilities, and responsible use.
